The Aethos frame has been designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness and style – so you can accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical downhills and stay comfortable even during long Sunday rides. But you may wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional shape of racing bikes of the past, changing it slightly to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or strength. The Aethos is more than a new bike, it is the beginning of a new generation.
An ultra-light frame is useless if the riding characteristics do not inspire confidence. That’s why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of stiffness at the front and rear in relation to ride quality. By studying the flex and every tiny detail of the carbon fibers, we learned a lot about how forces pass through the frame. Just a few pedal strokes will be enough for you to realize that the Aethos represents a new standard of riding.
Every detail, from the derailleur hanger to the expander in the stem, has been designed with style, weight and strength in mind. We have also included the new Alpinist carbon fiber seatpost to shave off additional weight and optimize ride characteristics – all for perfect handling.

We have taken everything we learned during the development of the Tarmac SL7 and reinterpreted it in aluminum, using Smartweld technology to create the new Allez Sprint. When you go on the attack, it’s very easy for it to be mistaken for a Tarmac. We’re not offended. Some call it a carbon copy, we say it is the first Aluminum Super Bike.
The components include Shimano 105 drivetrain with hydraulic disc brakes, DT R470 Disc alloy wheels and sella Body Geometry Power.

The Allez Sprint is the fastest aluminum bike in history thanks in part to the time spent in the wind tunnel with the Tarmac SL7. Details such as the most complex head tube we have ever made, and the fully internal cable routing, make this Allez 41 seconds faster over a distance of 40km compared to the previous model. Not bad, it could be the difference between making it onto the podium or not.
With the bottom bracket shell and down tube in a single piece of hydroformed aluminum, the Allez Sprint is super efficient and stabile, perfect for sprinting to the finish line or breaking away in the first kilometers.
Go down for the sprint a tutta, descend the most technical downhills, il tutto without feeling like you’ve gone ten rounds with the heavyweight champion. The dropped seatstays and the Tarmac SL7 carbon seatpost and fork make the Allez Sprint comfortable in the saddle and precise at the handlebar, il tutto with the proven geometry of the Tarmac SL7. It’s as comfortable as it is beautiful. Well, quasi.
One thing in particular helped us with the aerodynamics, with power transfer and with the handling of the new Allez Sprint – Smartweld technology. Producing the fastest bikes in the mondo in carbon fiber was not enough for us. With the bottom bracket shell and down tube in a single piece of hydroformed aluminum, with the most complex head tube ever made and with Smartweld technology we have created the first Aluminum Super Bike.

SPEED METAL: Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld, the Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category. Every frame tube is highly manipulated and features differentiated thicknesses and profiles that offer stiffness where needed, for efficiency, vibration absorption, optimal comfort and control.
CAPABILITY: With 110mm of travel suspension tuned with Ride Dynamics, the high-performance pedigree of the Chisel can be traced directly back to the Epic 8, our World Cup racing machine. The DNA of the Epic 8’s advanced suspension kinematics, the Ride Dynamics tuned suspension, and the progressive geometry refined on technical World Cup courses can all be found in the Chisel, making it more than capable of tackling varied terrain with confidence and speed.

Extensive field and lab tests have shown that the Chisel has achieved the impossible: the efficiency, control, and light weight of the Flex Stay design – common on carbon bikes – with an advanced alloy.
HYDROFORMED ALLOY: The one-piece hydroformed seat tube includes the bearing seat and the bottom bracket shell, unlike a traditional alloy bike where the two components are welded. In this way, the Chisel shaves off additional material and weight.

SPEED METAL. Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, the Chisel Comp EVO has the lightest aluminum frame in the cross-country category. The masterfully engineered tubes have different thicknesses and shapes to provide stiffness, efficiency and, at the same time, smoothness, comfort, and handling whenever you need it most.
EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE. With a series of trail-specific technical features, including a higher 130 mm front travel, the Chisel EVO devours the roughest off-road terrain with ease. Thanks to the advanced suspension kinematics with Ride Dynamics tuning and progressive geometry, the Chisel Comp EVO is able to tackle the most demanding rides with speed and safety.
UNPARALLELED EFFICIENCY. The Chisel Comp EVO offers the most efficient pedaling in its category because it exploits the geometry and kinematics of our Epic 8 EVO. The very steep seat tube optimizes the pedaling position to help you save energy on the descents, while the refined anti-squat reduces bobbing. The result? When you pedal the Chisel Comp EVO, every watt you generate is used to give you maximum propulsion.
COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE. We have developed a rear triangle with flex stays to maximize suspension performance, eliminating the additional weight and maintenance requirements of the pivots used in traditional designs. Field and lab tests show that with this solution, more common on carbon bikes, the Chisel Comp EVO has achieved the impossible: the efficiency, handling, and lightness of an advanced alloy design, with flex stays.
HYDROFORMED ALLOY. The Chisel Comp EVO saves material and weight thanks to a one-piece hydroformed seat tube that integrates the seatstay pivot, main pivot, and bottom bracket shell. On more traditional bikes, these elements are instead welded to the seat tube.
