Chisel is the lightest bi-amortized alloy mountain bike in the world. It is 18.4% lighter than similar models in its category and, thanks to the kinematics and geometry of its bigger sister Epic 8, Chisel delivers excellent performance on every ride.

SPEED METAL: Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld, Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category. Each frame tube is highly manipulated and features differentiated thicknesses and profiles that provide stiffness where needed—for efficiency, vibration absorption, comfort, and optimal control.

CAPACITÀ: with 110mm-travel Ride Dynamics-s tuned suspensions, Chisel's performance pedigree can be traced directly to the Epic 8, our World Cup race bike. The advanced suspension kinematics DNA of the Epic 8, the Ride Dynamics-tuned suspensions, and the progressive geometry refined on World Cup technical rides can all be found in the Chisel, making it more than capable of handling diverse terrains with confidence and speed.

EFFICENCY: Chisel is the most efficient bike in its category, thanks to the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8. The advanced seatpost positions the rider in an optimal pedaling position. The optimized anti-squat reduces pedal bob. Put it all together and you’ll understand how Chisel translates every watt into forward motion.

SMOOTHER IS FASTER: We designed the Flex Stay stays so the suspension would be at the top of its class, while eliminating the extra weight and maintenance of joints used by traditional designs. Extensive field and lab testing have shown that Chisel achieved the impossible: the efficiency, control, and lightness of the Flex Stay design—common on carbon bikes—with an advanced alloy.

HYDROFORMED ALLOY: The hydroformed, single-piece seat tube includes the cartridge bearing housing and bottom bracket shell, compared to a traditional alloy bike where the two components are welded. Thus, Chisel trims additional material and weight.
