SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH SHOES The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH are modern and ultra-light road cycling shoes. Thanks to Body Geometry, biomimetics, data science and the expertise of Specialized craftsmen, it has been possible to design this shoe so light that you forget you’re wearing it. The BOA® cable has been positioned lower and angled so that the forefoot does not lift. Thanks to this evolution, it has been possible to eliminate the velcro strap and the structure of the shoe improves power and eliminates unwanted pressure and pinching. The materials used for the upper follow the natural movement of the foot, offer all the comfort needed and the reinforced areas keep the foot wrapped for crisp power output and optimal efficiency.Inside the sole there is an internal reinforcement for greater stiffness and durability: the result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, greater efficiency and immediate power transfer.The part of the shoe that accommodates the Achilles tendon, compared to previous models, is asymmetrical, offers more space and maintains an excellent connection. SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE The brand-new SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE bring to the off-road mondo the performance offered by road shoes. Thanks to over 100,000 foot scans extracted from RETÜL data, a wider carbon sole has been introduced to better fit all shapes of the human foot. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, avoiding the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable, adjustable fit and sufficient stiffness to transfer all the power to the pedals. The inside and outside of the shoe are made following Body Geometry criteria: thanks to 20 years of studies and development, this shoe has no weak points, but only high performance when you pedal. Thanks to the varo thickness, the longitudinal arco and the metatarsal button, the foot remains in the correct position while pedaling and always stays aligned with the knees and hips. MAIN FEATURES OF SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE: The high-density base and the new spacers allow you to adjust contact with the pedal to obtain maximum efficiency and a road-like pedal stroke. The upper is completely mesh and TPU, offering ample spazio on the toe and the feeling of wearing a less constrictive sock. The upper is combined with the FACT carbon sole with medium stiffness and the rubber heel and toe that provide the perfetto degree of traction off the bike.
