The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ARES ROAD are road cycling shoes made with the finest materials and with input from professional athletes. The shape of the upper makes the shoe feel seamlessly integrated with the foot, and thanks to the new Boa Li2 closure, positioned more centrally, pressure is distributed more evenly across the entire foot. The result is an even more supportive and secure shoe at the front of the foot.
Updated collar and heel area, and super rigid FACT 15 carbon sole.

SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ARES ROAD KEY FEATURES:

• Body Geometry features such as the longitudinal arch, metatarsal button and varus wedge are essential for greater comfort, optimal performance and a lower likelihood of injury.
• Correct alignment of hip, foot and knee reduces the risk of injury, decreases lateral/medial knee movement and preserves circulation all the way to the toes.
• The closure system (patent pending) ensures excellent hold even while pedaling out-of-the-saddle.
• Non-elastic zones are created where Dyneema material is sandwiched between layers of synthetic material and TPU for a perfect connection and optimal comfort.
• The FACT Powerline carbon fiber sole is stiff and lightweight, enabling high power transfer. Stiffness index: 15.0.
• BOA Li2 Fit system with independent dials and micro-adjustment, with Boa warranty;
• The PadLock heel cup keeps the heel securely in place for better acceleration.
• Rear anti-slip heel pad, easily replaceable.
• Form Fit last with a roomy forefoot for a perfect connection and exceptional comfort.
• Threaded titanium inserts can be reversed to move the cleat rearward by up to 5mm.
