The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS ARES ROAD shoes for road bikes are made with the best materials and with input from professional athletes. The shape of the upper makes the shoe one with the foot, and thanks to the new Boa Li2 closure, positioned further toward the center, the pressure is distributed more evenly across the foot. The result is an even more striking and secure shoe at the front of the foot.
The collar and heel area have been redesigned, and the sole is a super rigid Fact 15 carbon.

• Body geometry features such as the longitudinal arch, metatarsal button, and varus wedge are essential for greater comfort, optimal performance, and reduced risk of impact injuries.
• Correct alignment of hip, foot, and knee reduces injury risk, minimizes lateral/medial knee movement, and safeguards circulation up to the toes.
• The closure system (patent pending) provides excellent hold even while pedaling out of the saddle.
• Non-elastic zones have been created where Dyneema material is embedded in layers of synthetic material and TPU for a perfect connection and optimal comfort.
• The FACT Powerline carbon fiber sole is rigid and light and allows high power transfer. Rigidity index: 15.0.
• BOA Li2 Fit system with independent dials and micro-adjustment, with Boa warranty;
• The PadLock heel lock keeps the heel in place for better acceleration.
• Rear anti-slip tab and easy to replace.
• Form Fit fit with a wide toe box for a perfect connection and exceptional comfort.
• Threaded titanium inserts can be inverted to move the cleat back up to 5mm.
