SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH SHOES
The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH are modern and ultra-light road cycling shoes. Thanks to Body Geometry, biomimetics, data science and the expertise of Specialized craftsmen, it has been possible to design this shoe so light that you forget you’re wearing it.
The BOA® cable has been positioned lower and angled so that the forefoot does not lift. Thanks to this evolution, it has been possible to eliminate the velcro strap and the structure of the shoe improves power and eliminates unwanted pressure and pinching. The materials used for the upper follow the natural movement of the foot, offer all the comfort needed and the reinforced areas keep the foot wrapped for crisp power output and optimal efficiency.
Inside the sole there is an internal reinforcement for greater stiffness and durability: the result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, greater efficiency and immediate power transfer.
The part of the shoe that accommodates the Achilles tendon, compared to previous models, is asymmetrical, offers more space and maintains an excellent connection.
MAIN FEATURES OF SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH SHOES:
- Flexible upper but reinforced where needed.
- Sole 4 mm wider than the S-Works 7 model.
- Optimized shape of the carbon sole through the addition of a reinforcement and by eliminating the build-up of superfluous material around the perimeter. The result is a weight reduction of 20 grams, greater efficiency and immediate power transfer.
- The asymmetrical heel cup supports the medial side and allows material to be removed from the sides and the use of a lower collar.
- The BOA® cable improves hold and reduces pressure on the anterior ankle ligaments.
- BOA® S3-Snap Fit system with independent micro-adjustment, with Boa® warranty.
- Possibility to invert the titanium threaded inserts to move the cleat back by up to 5 mm. Compatible with all major three-bolt cleat pedal systems.
- Rear anti-slip heel pad, easily replaceable.
