SHOES SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE

The new SHOES SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE bring to off-road performance the benefits of road shoes. Thanks to over 100,000 foot scans drawn from RETÃœL data, a wider carbon sole has been introduced to better accommodate all shapes of the human foot. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, avoiding the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable fit, adjustable, and sufficiently rigid to transfer all power to the pedals.
The inside and outside of the shoe are built following Body Geometry criteria: thanks to 20 years of study and development, this shoe has no weak points, only high performance when pedaling. Thanks to the varying thickness, the longitudinal arch, and the metatarsal button, the foot stays in the correct position while pedaling and remains aligned with the knees and hips.

SHOES SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE MAIN FEATURES:

• The high-density base and new spacers allow you to regulate pedal contact for maximum efficiency and a Road ride.
• Body Geometry technology with varus support, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal button.
• The asymmetric heel counter supports the medial side and allows material to be removed from the lateral area, enabling a lower collar.
• The use of an internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, eliminating the need for further reinforcements and allowing the shoe to remain extremely light.
• The reinforced zones on the fourth and forefoot maximize support, while the new BOA® closure improves lock, eliminating the need for a toe closure.
• Available as spare parts are additional spacers of 3 mm, 6 mm, and 9 mm to compensate leg length and for cleats.
• For a wider fit - the new sole is 4 mm wider than the standard width (8 mm wider than the previous S-Works Recon shoes).
• Indicative weight 280g for a size 42 shoe.
