Compared to the previous model, puncture protection has been increased by 8% thanks to the hybrid Kevlar BlackBelt technology under the tread. TR TUBELESS READY: The MAXXIS TR tubeless ready version provides the biker with many advantages: the possibility of riding with a reduced pressure of the tyre, which greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to the tyre with camera d'aria; fewer chances of having the tyre flat. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tyres have the same advantages as UST tubeless tyres without being penalized by the higher weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore it requires the use of sealant for air retention. Maxxis TR tyres are the only tyres approved for use with sealant. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tyres can also be used on wheels non Tubeless with the use of a camera d'aria.
