HyperWallA new construction that improves handling and puncture protection at low pressures, key factors in off-road applications, especially in the most demanding and aggressive ones like Gravity and e-MTB, where the robustness of the bead and the stability of the sidewalls are fundamental pillars in performance. This innovation derived from Pirelli's experience in Motocross features a reinforced rubber height on both sidewalls joined to an additional fabric layer that connects to the bead, stabilizing (+10%) and protecting it and increasing resistance to pinches by 50%. Reaching a level of stiffness and stability under sidewall loads typical of downhill tires, without the weight burden of a traditional bi-tube. All this translates into lightness, tread flexibility and thus grip and handling even at low pressures (+25%).
Tubeless ReadyTubeless-ready tires offer many advantages to the rider: the possibility of using lower air pressures, which improve traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with an inner tube; lower chance of punctures because there is no inner tube. Tubeless-ready tires must be mounted on rims compatible with tubeless and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the additional advantage of sealing small punctures. Regularly check the sealant and replace it if necessary, because over time it dries out.
