SmartGrip Gravity compound
The SmartGRIP Gravity compound is the racing-ready option of the Scorpion MTB range, a formulation derived from decades of know-how in motocross and from the valuable advice of former downhill world champions. This gave nata to a softer compound, tear-resistant, with greater grip in all weather conditions, excellent hold and control at high speeds with a single-compound formulation. SmartGRIP Gravity is the answer for all bikers looking for a reliable tyre to tackle any type of route in training and racing thanks to the consistency of its performance over time and in all kinds of weather conditions.

HyperWall
A new construction that improves rideability and puncture protection at low pressures, key factors in off-road applications, especially in the most challenging and aggressive ones such as Gravity and e-MTB, for which the robustness of the bead and the stability of the sidewalls are fundamental pillars in performance. This innovation derived from Pirelli's experience in Motocross features an increased-height rubber reinforcement on both sidewalls combined with an additional fabric layer that connects it to the bead, stabilizing it (+10%) and protecting it and increasing pinch resistance by 50%. Reaching a level of solidity and stability under sidewall loads typical of downhill tyres, without the weight increase of a traditional bi-tela. All this translates into lightness, tread flexibility and therefore grip and handling even at low pressures (+25%).

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless ready tyres offer the biker many advantages: the possibility of using lower air pressures, which improve traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tyre with inner tube; a lower chance of puncturing because there is no inner tube. Tubeless ready tyres must be mounted on rims compatible with tubeless and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the additional advantage of sealing small punctures. Make sure to regularly check the sealant and replace it if necessary, because over time it dries out.
