Designed for the rear wheel: special knobs provide grip in traction and braking. This tire is perfect for anyone seeking a balanced setup for their bike. A tread with a medium-profile and spacing, specific for rear use to guarantee traction and stability on a variety of terrains, from hard to soft. Scorpion™ Enduro R creates a perfect combo when paired with Scorpion™ Enduro M on the inside.

The tread of Scorpion™ Enduro R is developed for use on the same terrains as Scorpion™ Enduro M, with medium-height knobs and medium spacing and a broad range of use. The specific central knob design, derived from Pirelli’s experience in motocross, increases grip and stability both in braking and in traction, giving Scorpion™ Enduro R unique dynamic and reliability characteristics.

PIRELLI SCORPION ENDURO R 29X2.4 MTB HARDWALL MAIN FEATURES:

• Protection: Anti-tear compound, robust 60tpi nylon casing, and an additional 120tpi sidewall reinforcement for improved puncture and cut protection without compromising performance.
• Grip: The SmartGRIP compound guarantees high grip on wet surfaces; weather is no longer a problem, with no grip compromise on dry or wet.
• Handling: Tire profile optimized for modern aluminum or carbon rims with a wide internal width.
• Damping: TUBELESS READY casing in robust 60tpi Nylon, designed to absorb impacts and vibrations, making low-pressure riding more stable and a wider footprint on the ground.

TECHNOLOGIES:

• SmartGRIP Compound: SmartGrip Compound is a compound that uses the most advanced chemical technologies to achieve two typically antithetical characteristics in the off-road world: mechanical resistance and chemical grip. This formulation allows achieving a level of performance that can be used across the entire rubber layer making up the tread. The use of a monocompound guarantees that performance does not decrease with tread wear, a critical issue for multi-layer compounds. Pirelli selects the best compound for every tread and every size, no compromise between grip and handling on both dry and wet.
• HardWALL: Casing structure with protection from bead to bead and a hard rubber insert above the bead for reliability suitable for aggressive riding styles. Developed on the basis of modern bikes, the multiple reinforcements within the structure focus on improving reliability and ensuring better support at low pressures.
• MTB Rear Specific: The tread of Scorpion™ MTB Rear Specific is developed for use on the same terrains as Scorpion™ MTB Mixed Terrain, with mid-height knobs and medium spacing and a broad and dedicated range for mixed conditions, whether dry or wet. The specific central knob design, derived from Pirelli’s motocross experience, increases grip and stability in braking and traction, giving this tire unique dynamic and reliability characteristics and offering excellent dread for smoothness on mixed terrains.
