The Scorpion™ Enduro gamma is developed for riders who need to focus their attention on grip and lateral puncture resistance thanks to HardWALL technology, while maintaining a great sense of safety in every type of weather condition, both dry and wet.

Designed for the rear wheel: special knobs that provide grip in traction and braking. This tire is perfect for those looking for a balanced set-up for their bike. A tread with medium profile and spacing, specific for rear use to ensure traction and stability on a variety of different terrains, from hard to soft. Scorpion™ Enduro R creates a perfect combo when combined with Scorpion™ Enduro M on the front.

The tread of Scorpion™ Enduro R is developed for use on the same terrains as Scorpion™ Enduro M, with knobs of medium height and spacing and a wide range of use. The specific design of the central knobs, derived from Pirelli’s experience in the mondo of motocross, increases grip and stability both in braking and in traction to give Scorpion™ Enduro R unique dynamic and reliability characteristics.

PIRELLI SCORPION ENDURO R 29X2.4 MTB HARDWALL TIRE MAIN FEATURES:

• Protection: Tear-resistant compound, robust 60 tpi nylon casing and additional 120 tpi sidewall reinforcement for improved protection against punctures and cuts without compromises on performance.
• Grip: The SmartGRIP compound ensures high adhesion on wet surfaces as well; the weather is no longer a problem, no compromise in grip on dry and wet.
• Handling: Tire profile optimized for modern aluminum or carbon rims with wide internal channel.
• Damping: TUBELESS READY casing in robust 60 tpi Nylon, developed to absorb impacts and vibrations and thus make riding at low pressures more stabile and provide a wider contact patch.

TECHNOLOGIES:

• SmartGRIP Compound: SmartGRIP Compound is a compound that uses the most advanced chemical technologies to obtain two characteristics that are typically antithetical in the off-road mondo: mechanical resistance and chemical grip. This formulation makes it possible to achieve such a level of performance that it can be used throughout the entire rubber layer that makes up the tread. The use of a single compound ensures that performance does not decrease as tread wear increases, a critical issue typical of multi-layer compounds. Pirelli chooses the best compound for each tread and each size, no compromise between grip and handling on dry and wet.
• HardWALL: Casing structure with bead-to-bead protection and hard rubber insert above the bead for reliability suitable for aggressive riding styles. Developed on the basis of modern bikes, the multiple reinforcements incorporated in the structure focus on improving reliability and guaranteeing better support at low pressures.
• MTB Rear Specific: The tread of Scorpion™ MTB Rear Specific is developed for use on the same terrains as Scorpion™ MTB Mixed Terrain, with knobs of medium height and spacing and a wide range of use dedicated to mixed conditions, whether dry or wet. The specific design of the central knobs, derived from Pirelli’s experience in the mondo of motocross, increases grip and stability both in braking and in traction to give this tire unique dynamic and reliability characteristics, offering excellent rolling performance on mixed terrain.
