The brakes are the most important safety part of the bicycle. The replacement of any brake component must be carried out by a qualified mechanic who must follow the procedures of the bicycle manufacturer. Check the wear of the rotor and, if necessary, replace it. Also check the correct functioning of the braking system.Make sure that the friction surfaces of the pads and the rotor are not touched by grease, oli or altro that could reduce the friction properties. Do non contaminate the friction surfaces with fluids, oli or greases that greatly reduce the efficiency of the brakes.New pads must be used for braking for at least 500 meters. The force on the lever must be light and progressively stronger in order to obtain step by step greater braking pressure.
