The Apex is fully CNC-machined, with an oversize central bore, extensive 3-D machining, and an external strap to maximize structural strength and rigidity while minimizing weight. Made from 7050-T6 aluminum alloy, the handlebar is extremely light and strong, and this is what differentiates it from its predecessor: featherweight and greater width. This handlebar offers an immediate feel and maximum control, thanks also to the 7050-T6 aluminum alloy from which it is made and to the width indicators and positioning grid with laser-engraved markings. Available in four different rise options to best fit any rider, bike, and course. It is the definitive DH race handlebar which, using an entirely UD carbon construction with efficient placement and orientation of unidirectional carbon fibers, combines the right mix of stiffness, robustness and vibration absorption. The new Fatbar Carbon V2 maintains a market-leading weight: the mere 225 g were achieved through more efficient material use, eliminating any excess to reduce weight, while maintaining the strength, durability and flexibility characteristics of the original Fatbar Carbon. The width has been increased to 800 mm and is available with rise options of 10, 20, 30 and 40 mm to suit any requirement.
