HOPE UNION TC TRAIL PEDALS The HOPE UNION TC TRAIL PEDALS are designed for cross-country and have a dual mechanism that allows easy pedal engagement, a secure cleat hold, and a positive and consistent release.The double clip mechanism means that the front clip moves upon pedal entry, reduces the effort required to clip in, flattens the shoe’s entry angle, and gives a wider cleat entry angle, allowing the front of the shoe sole to get closer to the pedal body for increased stability. Cleat release is guided by fixed pins for an easier and more consistent release.The mechanism mounted by Hope uses a specific cleat that is not compatible with all other systems.
