The brakes are the most important safety part of the bicycle. The replacement of any brake component must be carried out by a qualified mechanic who must follow the procedures of the bike manufacturer. Check the wear of the rotor and, if necessary, replace it. Also check the correct functioning of the braking system.Check that the friction surfaces of the pads and rotor are not touched by grease, oli or altro that could reduce the friction properties. Non contaminate the friction surfaces with fluids, oli or grease that greatly reduce the efficiency of the brakes.New pads must brake for at least 500 meters. The force on the lever must be light and progressively stronger to obtain step by step greater braking pressure.

The BCA HP2.5 203 MM rotor, 203 mm, has been designed to overcome the most common problems encountered on bike rotors even under particularly heavy use.
The low steel braking track, with its distinctive profile, ensures:

HOW THE BCA HP2.5 203 MM ROTOR IS ASSEMBLED
The spider and track are riveted (“nailed”) to reduce vibrations transmitted from the rotor to the pad and consequently to the pistons; a fixed rotor also improves pad bite in the initial part of braking.
Braking remains always precise and consistent, and the HP2.5 allows E-Bike use even in place of a 3 mm rotor.
