BCA SHIMANO RS505 R805 PADS
The brakes are the most important safety part of the bicycle. The replacement of any part of the brakes must be carried out by a qualified mechanic who must follow the procedures of the bike manufacturer.
Check the wear of the disc and, if necessary, replace it. Also check the correct operation of the braking system.
Check that the friction surfaces of the pads and the disc are not touched by grease, oils or altro that could reduce the friction properties. Do NON contaminate the friction surfaces with fluids, oils or greases that greatly reduce braking efficiency.
New pads must brake for at least 500 meters. The force on the lever must be light and progressively stronger to obtain step by step greater braking pressure.
