The Trickstuff Direttissima is a high-performance hydraulic braking system designed for those seeking power, precision, and modulation even on the most demanding descents. The combination of high system rigidity, reduced lever friction, and 4-piston calipers ensures an extremely direct response and precise braking control.

The system uses a 9 mm piston master cylinder that actuates the four caliper pistons, which have differentiated diameters of 14/17 mm. The special progressive leverage system increases braking force in proportion to the pressure applied to the lever, allowing for powerful braking without requiring excessive effort on the handlebars.

Absolute power and control

One of the strengths of the Direttissima is the sense of control offered during braking. The bearing-mounted levers, combined with CNC-machined aluminum construction and highly precise manufacturing tolerances, contribute to maintaining a defined and consistent bite point.

The high-pressure resistant Kevlar hoses further increase system rigidity and allow for an immediate perception of the moment the pads make contact with the rotor. The result is a particularly precise lever response with excellent modulation and no play.

4-piston caliper

The Trickstuff Direttissima caliper uses four 14/17 mm stainless steel pistons, designed to ensure uniform retraction and contribute to the consistency of the pressure point. The anodized aluminum caliper construction ensures high rigidity while keeping weight low.

Tool-free lever adjustment

The reach of the lever can be adjusted without the use of tools, allowing you to quickly customize the control position based on your preferences and riding style.

The system comes with Trickstuff POWER+ brake pads, featuring a high-performance compound applied to a nickel-plated backing plate. The Direttissima is also compatible with pads in shape 850.
