The Maxxis Ardent EXO TR 3C tire is designed to deliver the best possible performance in Downhill and All-Mountain disciplines, thanks to its high-volume casing and optimal grip. The tire features wide side knobs for cornering and ramped knobs to reduce rolling resistance. The TR version has a tubeless-ready bead, allowing use with or without a inner tube. The tire also offers a Triple Compound mix; MaxxSpeed provides an excellent balance between traction and grip.

technologies:

• 3C MAXX SPEED MIX: An intermediate compound configuration used on selected mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more grip than 3C MaxxSpeed, and is also more resistant to wear with lower rolling resistance.

• EXO: Extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of MTB tires. This layer, made with a dense super-light weave, does not affect tire performance.

• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless-ready version of MAXXIS provides many advantages to the rider: the ability to ride with lower tire pressure, greatly improving traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with a tube; lower risk of flat. Maxxis TR tubeless-ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without the weight penalty. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires the use of tubeless sealant for air retention. Maxxis TR tires are the only tires approved for use with tire sealants. Maxxis TR tubeless-ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless rims with the use of an inner tube.
