SPEEDCORE: The highest performing tubeless-ready road structure of the Pirelli gamma uses a layer of compound mixed with aramid that covers the inner layer of the tire, allowing it to hold air. This new structure makes the tire more resistant, thanks to the presence of aramid, but at the same time less rigid and faster, due to the greater flexibility of the compound compared to a bead-to-bead fabric. The casing is then completed by a tela in 120 tpi Nylon and by a puncture-resistant layer, also in aramid.
