Here is the new Propero 4 helmet – the aerodynamics of the S-Works Evade 3 combined with the exceptional ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, and furthermore the comfort and reliability of all Specialized helmets, plus the 5-star rating from Virginia Tech Institute®. Every detail of the Propero 4 has been designed with the equation Aerodynamics + Ventilation + Lightweight = Speed in mind.
AERODYNAMICS: In developing the Propero 4, aerodynamics was the starting point, and for this we conducted numerous CFD tests and wind-tunnel sessions. With the profile inspired by the S-Works Evade 3, we gain already 4 watts, i.e., 15 seconds over a 40 km distance.
VENTILATION: Drawing from the S-Works Prevail 3 helmet, we achieved our quality objectives. We incorporated the rear exhausts of the S-Works Prevail 3 and introduced 2 mm micro-channels that create turbulence in the airflow through the helmet, thereby creating a continuous and refreshing air passage.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Beyond aerodynamics and ventilation, the Propero 4 is characterized by meticulous attention to detail. We have applied cutting-edge technologies such as MIPS and a fit system designed for comfort. The Propero 4 exceeds expectations.

The total speed has always been the Demo's goal, and with the Demo Race, it is no different. Introducing a new flexible frame design that allows riders to leverage a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel, it’s a special mix that has long been tested by the world champion Loïc Bruni in pursuit of the perfect balance between traction and handling, but it was only approved last year by the UCI. Not that this prevented the Demo Race from winning both the Downhill World Championship and the overall World Cup title in its first season...
Now, we offer that same winning combination straight out of the box, with a adjustable rear end that still allows switching between 27.5 and 29 inch wheels depending on terrain and riding style, also adjusting chain length and bottom bracket height.
Extremely fast on tough trails, the Demo Race’s suspension design is built around a rearward axle path that reduces rear wheel hang-up, instead increasing speed.
Öhlins quality suspensions offer the most proven suspension dynamics in the World Cup circuit, and SRAM’s downhill-specific X01 drivetrain powers you from start to finish.
SPECIALIZED DEMO RACE 2024 KEY FEATURES:
The Demo Race M5 alloy frame is completely optimized to take advantage of the traction benefits of a 29-inch front wheel and the increased maneuverability of a 27.5-inch rear wheel, while maintaining the ability to change the rear wheel size to fit different terrains and riding styles with an adjustable rear end that ensures chain length and bottom bracket height stay perfect, regardless of wheel size.
The Öhlins TTX22M.2 coil shock is designed to tackle the World Cup Downhill courses, offering external low-speed and rebound adjustments, while the Trunnion mount provides extra bushing overlap for greater durability.
With excellent small-bump tracking and the ability to absorb landings even from heavier falls, the 200mm travel of the Öhlins DH38 m.1 fork will give you softer, faster, and safer descending feel than anything you’ve ridden before.

SPECIALIZED S-WORKS AETHOS 2024 MAIN FEATURES:
The S-Works Aethos frame was designed to create the perfect combination of ride quality, lightness and style - able to accelerate even on steep climbs, descend the most technical descents, and be comfortable during long Sunday rides. But you’ll wonder, how did we do it? We reinvented the traditional shape of the road bike of the past, slightly changing it to optimize stiffness and balance, without compromising weight or stiffness. With a completely new lay-up, refined over many decades, you get the lightest frame on the market (585 grams for the S-Works frame size 56). The Aethos is more than a new bike; it’s the start of a new generation.
A super-light frame is worthless if the handling characteristics don’t inspire confidence. That’s why for the Aethos we sought the perfect mix of rigidity on the front and rear in relation to ride quality. By studying the flexibility and every small detail of the carbon fibers, we’ve learned a lot about how forces traverse the frame. It will take just a few pedal strokes to realize that the Aethos represents a new standard of handling.
Every detail has been designed with regard to style, weight and resistance and to optimize ride characteristics - all for perfect handling.
