The MANUBRIO SPECIALIZED ROVAL RAPIDE 31.8X400 100MM, lightweight and aerodynamic, is perfect for reaching the finish line quickly. The handlebar was developed in collaboration with the top athletes of the Specialized team and the Retül Fit team and is aerodynamic, light and stiff: the mix perfetto to seize the vittoria.
The absence of connecting components between handlebar and stem allows for an airfoil profile. A 4-watt improvement may seem small, but it results in a 32 cm advantage in a 250 m final sprint. When races are won by throwing the bike, this is a winning difference.
Without the connecting components between handlebar and stem, the Rapide Cockpit is 50 g lighter (100 mm x 420 mm) than the combination of Rapide handlebar with Tarmac stem. The handlebar is made of premium carbon fiber ad alto modulo, which offers the ideal stiffness for the biggest and fastest sprinters of the World Tour and has a stiffness-to-weight ratio higher than any two-piece system ever made by Specialized.
The 15 different combinations of stem and handlebar, all at -6 degrees, cover most race positions. The radius from the top to the drops has been sculpted for wrist freedom of movement both while pedaling out of the saddle and in an aerodynamic position.
