Aesthetics, first-class construction, and exceptional comfort bring the Torch 3.0 close to the S-Works version of this shoe. Elements such as the uni-directional carbon outsole, dual Boa closure, and seam-free upper make the Torch 3.0 efficient, comfortable, reliable, and high-performing.
The Body Geometry method: evolution has led us to walk, not pedal, which could result in foot collapse or misalignment of foot, knee, and hip. The Torch 3.0, like all Body Geometry shoes, helps solve these problems thanks to three patented technologies – varus spread, longitudinal arch, and metatarsal support – to increase pedal power without sport trauma. All of this is supported by scientific validation and two decades of field experience.
Carbon sole: The Torch 3.0 features a lightweight uni-directional carbon sole that provides balanced rigidity throughout the shoe, using less material and thus reducing overall weight. This sole ensures very efficient power transfer, quite similar to that of the S-Works shoe. Large rubber inserts on the sole, at the toe and heel, provide stability and traction when dismounting the bike to place the foot at the traffic light or to restart.
Comfort: For comfort, the construction is essential – balanced rigidity, fine adjustment, and a flexible upper constitute the right mix to optimize comfort. The Torch 3.0, a shoe with a perfect fit, highly efficient, dual Boa Li2 closure, and a seamless TPU and perforated upper.
