The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS PREVAIL 3 MIPS is a road bike helmet with high comfort, thermoregulation, and ventilation features. It is the ultimate helmet for a variety of uses, excelling in hot conditions, steep climbs, and mountainous stages. The central foam “pegs,” which blocked air from the center and effectively created channels that increased ventilation surface by 24.5% compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent, have been removed, and the helmet now features the widest ventilation zone ever produced by Specialized. In the event of an impact, the helmet’s job is to dissipate the generated energy, and more EPS foam means better energy management: aramid cables pass through the helmet and are anchored to the carbon fiber side panels. Upon impact, the AirCage* technology acts as a suspended bridge and is designed to distribute localized forces throughout the helmet. The occipital adjustment allows a personalized fit, and the helmet angle can also be managed for compatibility with eyewear. The TriFix system now has thinner straps to avoid potential irritation, while the Mindset retention system, with micro-adjust, is lightweight and offers even better grip for on-the-fly adjustment while riding. The helmet is compatible with the ANGi sensor (sold separately). The MIPS Node Air technology is integrated into the padding with a thin layer designed to dissipate rotational forces.

Elemento is designed to offer extreme aerodynamics and maximum ventilation thanks to its innovative design and the introduction of several cutting-edge technologies such as Fluid Carbon 12 and Multipod. The Fluid Carbon 12 composite technopolymer, compared to traditional materials, distributes the force generated on the entire helmet more evenly in the event of an impact. All these features allow increasing the size of the internal channels, thus improving ventilation, while at the same time reducing the size of the ventilation holes, resulting in improved aerodynamics as well. Multipod is Kask's 3D-printed padding: the elastomer material allows the helmet to better withstand the energy generated by linear and rotational impacts.
