SPECIALIZED S-WORKS PREVAIL 3 MIPS HELMET
The SPECIALIZED S-WORKS PREVAIL 3 MIPS is a road bike helmet with high levels of comfort, thermoregulation and ventilation. It is the ultimate helmet for various uses, excelling in hot conditions, demanding climbs and mountain stages.
The central “bridges” made of foam material, which block the aria from the center, effectively creating canali that increase the ventilation surface by 24.5% compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent, have been eliminated and the helmet features the widest ventilation area ever made by Specialized.
In caso of impact the task of the helmet is to dissipate the energy generated and more EPS foam means better energy management: the aramid cables run through the helmet and are anchored to the carbon fiber side panels. On impact, the AirCage* technology funziona like a suspension bridge and is designed to distribute localized forces throughout the helmet.
The occipital adjustment allows a customized fit, and the angle of the helmet can also be managed for compatibility with glasses. The TriFix system now has thinner straps to avoid possible irritation, while the Mindset retention system, with micro dial, is lightweight and has even better grip for on-the-fly adjustment while riding. The helmet is compatible with the Angi sensor (to be purchased separately).
The MIPS Node Air technology is integrated into the padding with a thin layer designed to dissipate rotational forces.
