The BICI SPECIALIZED EPIC WC PRO is perfect for XC champions and, thanks to an unbeatable combination of efficiency, control, and lightness, it is fast on slick terrain. The champion Christopher expresses it this way: “This bike gives me everything I could want from a hardtail, with the added control and capabilities of a full suspension.” To achieve maximum speed and power transfer, a new standard has been set in terms of torsional stiffness and bottom bracket movement. The double-diamond layout is the most sophisticated in Specialized’s history, supporting the goal of stiffness by integrating the shock as a structural element. The RockShox SID Deluxe WCID (World Cup Integrated Design) shock uses air springs, positive and negative, independently adjustable, giving the bike the “snap” of a hardtail combined with a weight that eats into the terrain and allows setup adjustments for a specific course or personal preferences. The 75 mm of travel on the Epic World Cup behave as if they were much more. When pedaling in firm mode, it offers the same positive travel as a bike with 100 mm of travel set with a 25% sag. Optimization of air volumes and damping characteristics allows the Epic WC to handle impacts like a bike with more generous travel. The MegaJounce dedicated pad provides solid end station support to manage the most violent impacts. The BRAIN is positioned in the fork, features Position-Sensitive technology and 15 mm of sag, without the need for lockout or action levers. HyperWallA new construction that improves handling and puncture protection at low pressures, key factors in off-road applications, especially in the most demanding and aggressive ones like Gravity and e-MTB, where the robustness of the bead and the stability of the sidewalls are fundamental pillars in performance. This innovation derived from Pirelli's experience in Motocross features a reinforced rubber height on both sidewalls joined to an additional fabric layer that connects to the bead, stabilizing (+10%) and protecting it and increasing resistance to pinches by 50%. Reaching a level of stiffness and stability under sidewall loads typical of downhill tires, without the weight burden of a traditional bi-tube. All this translates into lightness, tread flexibility and thus grip and handling even at low pressures (+25%).
Tubeless ReadyTubeless-ready tires offer many advantages to the rider: the possibility of using lower air pressures, which improve traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with an inner tube; lower chance of punctures because there is no inner tube. Tubeless-ready tires must be mounted on rims compatible with tubeless and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the additional advantage of sealing small punctures. Regularly check the sealant and replace it if necessary, because over time it dries out.

The VITTORIA AIR LINER is a MTB insert that represents a great compromise between stability and traction and guarantees controlled and comfortable riding. It is inserted inside tubeless tires and replaces part of the air-filled volume. A smaller amount of air allows the tire to deform to the ground and absorb shocks more effectively than a normal tubeless tire. The air liner is waterproof and does not absorb liquid sealant: high performance is always guaranteed and the sealant performs its action to the fullest.
VITTORIA AIR LINER MAIN FEATURES:
Thanks to the Air-Liner, wheels and tires are better protected. The insert absorbs impacts that occur inside the tire and eliminates punctures caused by the rim.
Control: the insert replaces part of the air volume inside the tire. Reduced air presence allows the insert to grip the ground better than a traditional tubeless system.
Performance: the air liner increases lateral stability without compromising grip and traction. Better performance in corners, climbs, and braking.
Durability: the air liner is made with a highly durable polymer. Used under normal conditions, it can last up to 2000 hours; or 1 hour completely air-free (runflat).
