PENSA FASTER: The Epic World Cup is the fastest XC racing bike on smooth courses, thanks to an unparalleled combination of efficiency, control and lightness. Champion Christopher puts it this way: “This bike gives me tutto I could wish for from a hardtail, with the added control and capabilities of a full-suspension.” To create this racing machine we adopted a fully integrated development approach, inventing a completely new shock, thanks also to four decades of victories on the off-road racing stage.

BENCHMARK FRAME: To achieve maximum speed through perfetto efficiency in power transfer and ultra-precise handling, our team of engineers has set the new standard in terms of torsional stiffness and at the bottom bracket. The double diamante layout is the most sophisticated in the history of Specialized, and supports the stiffness target by integrating the shock as a structural element.
FAST SUSPENSION: The Specialized Ride Dynamics Team developed a revolutionary technology for the Epic World Cup to give it the efficiency and responsiveness of a hardtail, plus the control and capability of a full-suspension. The RockShox SID Deluxe WCID (World Cup Integrated Design) shock with independently adjustable positive and negative aria springs gives the Epic WC the coveted "scatto" of hardtails, combined with bump-gobbling lightness and the ability to adjust the set-up based on a specific course or personal preferences.
BEYOND ITS CATEGORY: The 75 mm of travel on the Epic World Cup behave as if they were much more. When the bike is ridden in firm mode, it offers the same effective travel as a 100 mm travel bike set with 25% sag. The optimization of air volumes and damping characteristics allows the Epic WC to handle impacts like a bike with more generous travel. The dedicated MegaJounce bumper provides robust end-of-stroke support to handle the hardest hits.
BRAIN: While the revolutionary SID Deluxe WCID shock provides the perfect mix of absorption and firmness at the rear triangle, in the fork the BRAIN is alive and well, with Position-Sensitive technology and 15 mm of sag, with no need for lock out or levers to operate.
LIGHTNESS: With a frame weighing only 1765 grams (painted, with shock and hardware), the Epic World Cup is the lightest on the market. This lightness translates into explosive accelerations, climbs with maximum efficiency, and surprising handling. The somma of these characteristics is speed. We managed to design a frame that is so light and at the same time stiff thanks to what we learned from the design of the Aethos, particularly with regard to the carbon layup.
SEATPOST: The Epic World Cup comes with the new Roval Control SL seatpost, ultra-light and stiff.

La Santa Cruz V10 è una delle bici di maggior successo nella storia del downhill. Questo non è un caso, ma il risultato del costante lavoro di sviluppo degli ingegneri e del team Syndicate. Non sorprende quindi che all'inizio della stagione 2017 la concorrenza sia rimasta a bocca aperta quando Loris Vergier, Luca Shaw e Greg Minnaar si sono qualificati su prototipi V10 con ruote da 29 pollici. Durante la stagione 2017 e 2018 sono stati effettuati intensi lavori di sviluppo, test e gare. Ora la Santa Cruz V10 è alla settima fase di sviluppo ed è disponibile nelle versioni 27,5 o 29 pollici per i downhill racer. Santa Cruz ha scelto consapevolmente entrambe le dimensioni delle ruote per soddisfare le preferenze personali dei rider. La V10 con ruote da 29 pollici è semplicemente più veloce e offre una trazione leggermente superiore. La V10 da 27,5 pollici è più maneggevole e più facile da accelerare. I telai sono stati sviluppati senza compromessi per la rispettiva dimensione delle ruote e non sono convertibili. Ma una cosa è certa: ogni Santa Cruz V10 è una macchina da downhill incredibilmente veloce, pronta a portarti sul podio.

The Open U.P. (Unbeaten path – sentiero non battuto) is the Gravel bike that won the Award at Eurobike, therefore designed specifically for Gravel. Frame and fork are made of carbon, an extremely strong and lightweight material that allows you to achieve maximum performance. It is defined as Gravel Plus and can be used both for road riding and on gravel or rough terrain. The peculiarity of the frame lies in the fact that it offers the possibility of mounting a wide range of tire sizes, starting from 700×28 up to 27.5 x 2.1 mtb tires, therefore road tires, cyclocross tires and, on a 27.5” rim, 2.1-inch mountain bike tires.

Maximum speed has always been the main goal in the design of the Demo. The frame design provides flexibility in wheel setup and allows the rider to mount a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5 rear. The frame comes with an Öhlins TTX22M.2 coil shock.
The M5 alloy frame design includes a 29-inch front wheel, perfect for traction, and a 27.5 rear wheel, which is more maneuverable. At the same time, it is also possible to opt for a 29er on the rear to accommodate different riding styles or types of terrain. The rear end is adjustable so as to ensure that the length of the foderi bassi and the bottom bracket height remain tuned, regardless of wheel size.
The Öhlins TTX 22M.2 shock is capable of tackling the most technical DH World Cup tracks.

Let’s be clear, the Stumpjumper EVO is not a normal trail bike. It was built to tackle everything, with adjustable head angle, 150mm of travel, S-Sizing sizes. You will be able to tackle descents with maximum confidence.
Suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics and we kept this well in mind when designing the Stumpjumper EVO. From what we learned in the development of the Enduro and with over 1000 hours of testing in the field and in the lab, we have greatly improved pedaling and created the feeling of capacity, efficiency and liveliness that everyone appreciates. We have increased the anti-squat so that the suspension resists bobbing better, and we have also improved impact absorption on sharp-edged obstacles. In a nutshell, the Stumpjumper descends with full control and climbs with agility.
The S-Sizing geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is the most progressive. Long, low, slack, short-offset fork, a steeper seat tube – they make you pedal better. But the perfect geometry can be different for different riders, ecco why on the Stumpjumper EVO it can be adjusted to six diverse positions. Not only can you raise the bottom bracket by 10mm, you can also adjust the head angle by up to two degrees. Finally, if you like the mullet, on the Stumpjumper EVO you can mount a 27.5" rear wheel combined with a 29" front.
Rider-First Engineered™ technology is a misura-specific approach to design to ensure the same riding characteristics for all sizes. So if you’re not exactly a giant and you ride an S1, or if instead you need the long S6, you will tackle corners with the same confidence, with an equivalent balance of stiffness, tutto at the lowest possible weight.
In 2016 we introduced the SWAT™ compartment in the frame of the Stumpjumper, to be able to store mini-pumps or altro to repair a puncture.
