The Maxxis Minion DHF EXO TR 3C tire is the downhill-appropriate tire, ideal for loose and muddy terrains. The tire features angled treads that minimize rolling resistance and grooved tread that guarantees maximum grip in corners and on straightaways. It mounts the Maxxterra rubber mix that provides an optimal balance of rebound and grip for high-performance results and the EXO reinforcement on the sidewalls for maximum abrasion and tear protection. Tubeless Ready version, can be mounted with or without a inner tube.

- EXO+: Maxxis has combined two existing technologies, SilkShield and EXO, to create the new carcass called EXO+ or more commonly EXO PLUS. The result promises to significantly increase and improve protection against cuts and punctures while maintaining the normal riding feel offered by EXO tires. Essentially the tire remains soft and flexible, unique characteristics of Maxxis. All of this with only about 12% more weight.
- TR TUBELESS READY: The MAXXIS TR tubeless ready version offers riders many advantages: the ability to ride with a reduced tire pressure, which greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to tires with an inner tube; fewer chances of the tire getting to ground. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without the weight penalty. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore requires tire sealant for air retention. Maxxis TR tires are the only tires approved for use with sealants.
The Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-Tubeless rims with the use of an inner tube.
