The Minion DHF tire by maxxis was created to race in the NORBA Downhill championship, as it is able to accompany the rider on any type of trail, even the muddiest or most unstable. The tire features both ramped knobs, ideal for reducing rolling resistance, and knobs with a central channel to increase biting edges, provide stability on the straight and in corners. The Minion DHF tire is well suited both as a rear and as a front, or only on the front if combined with the DHR. The Tubeless Ready system offers installation with or without an inner tube, while the Exo sidewall reinforcement ensures protection from abrasions or possible tears.

• TR TUBELESS READY: The maxxis TR tubeless ready version provides the rider with many advantages: the possibility to ride with a lower pressure in the casing, which greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with an inner tube; a lower chance of having the tire on the ground. maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without being penalized by the higher weight. For the TR version a standard casing is used and therefore it requires the use of sealant for air retention. maxxis TR tires are the only tires approved for use with sealant.
  The maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non Tubeless wheels with the use of an inner tube.
