The Minion DHF tire signed Maxxis has been designed to compete in the NORBA Downhill championship, as it is capable of accompanying the rider on every type of trail, even the muddiest or most unstable. The tire uses both ramp-style valves, ideal for reducing rolling resistance, and center-channel valves to increase gripping angles, provide stability on straightaways and in corners. The Minion DHF tire adapts well as a rear or front tire, or only front if paired with the DHR. The Tubeless Ready system offers mounting with or without an inner tube, while the EXO reinforcement on the sidewalls ensures protection from abrasions or potential tears.

Technologies:

• EXO: extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the MTB tire sidewalls. This layer, created with a dense, ultra-light weave, does not affect tire performance.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The MAXXIS TR tubeless ready version provides riders with many advantages: the ability to ride with reduced tire pressure, which greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tire with a tube; reduced likelihood of gaining ground contact. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without the weight penalty. For the TR version a standard carcass is used, thus requiring the use of sealant for air retention. Maxxis TR tires are the only tires approved for use with sealants.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless rims with the use of a tube.
