The Rocky Mountain Element Carbon Frameset is a full-suspension frame designed for modern Cross Country, built for those seeking a balance between lightness, climbing efficiency, and confidence on technical sections. The Element platform combines progressive geometry with an advanced suspension system, offering a responsive and precise ride both in XC competitions and on the most demanding singletrack trails.
Made of SMOOTHWALL™ carbon, the frame is designed to achieve an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio while maintaining precise handling and immediate power transfer. The structure has been further optimized to reduce weight compared to the previous generation, without sacrificing the durability required for technical terrain.
The Smoothlink SL™ system features a flexstay design that eliminates the traditional rear pivot, helping to reduce weight and increase rear triangle stiffness. The 120 mm rear suspension is engineered to offer an effective balance of traction, comfort, and pedaling performance.
The Element's modern geometry can be adjusted thanks to the RIDE-4™ system, which allows you to quickly change the frame setup through four different configurations. This makes it possible to adapt the bike's behavior to the characteristics of the trail and your personal riding preferences.
The frame is compatible with 29" wheels and tires up to 29 x 2.6". It is also designed for UDH standard drivetrains, offers internal cable routing, and is compatible with chainrings up to 36 teeth. The Element uses 190 x 45 mm rear shocks and is designed for forks with travel between 120 and 140 mm.
The Size Specific Tune technology allows the suspension behavior to be optimized according to the frame size, ensuring the right balance between small-bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support, and bottom-out progressivity.
The Rocky Mountain Element Carbon Frameset is therefore an ideal foundation for building a personalized, high-performance XC MTB that combines efficiency, lightness, and control on technical trails.
The frame is supplied as a frameset: components and final build must be chosen and installed separately based on your desired configuration.
Pro-M Store offers a free pre-assembly service: for complete builds purchased at Pro-M Store, the assembly is performed by our technicians before shipping.
