Sram Red eTap AXS E1 Disc 2-speed front brake system. The new lever design is designed for one-finger operation and its shape adapts to all hand sizes. The brake piston is now positioned horizontally, and the pivot has been moved further outward and higher by 5mm, moving from a type I to a type II linkage. This, combined with the lighter but also stiffer caliper, requires 80% less braking force than the previous eTAP AXS. The carbon lever material makes it 83g lighter than the previous generation.
