GENIE—the magic carpet: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 is GENIE. This patent-pending air spring technology we invented grants the three wishes of every rider: the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out resistance than a standard air spring, and an adjustable platform for a playful feel.
THE “GENIE”: GENIE combines the linear stiffness of the coil spring, which improves control through the “bump zone”, with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of the stroke to prevent bottom-outs.
