The S-Works Turbo RapidAir 2BR is the perfect racing tire. The most efficient, lightest, most manageable and resistant tubeless we have ever made. The original RapidAir are the tires that broke the tradition of using tubulars in the most important competitive races. The unique construction of the RapidAir – with two plies that overlap on the shoulder instead of the traditional 3 plies that piled material under the tread – was a very fast base to start from. We were able to improve the excellent performance thanks to the new Gripton T2 compound, the fastest, which is found on the central tread, combined with T5 on the shoulders. This dual compound gives an advantage of two watts for a pair of S-Works 26mm compared to the previous version, and also adds 1000 km of durability. Oh, had we already told you that it is also lighter? Only 230 grams for the 26mm section.

Since we are talking about a tubeless tire, when used with RapidAir sealant, you can leave the spare inner tube at casa. It doesn’t end there – with the new hybrid Kevlar-BlackBelt puncture protection this tire is 12% more resistant to punctures, and at the same time it is lighter and more flexible.

The new S-Works Turbo RapidAir is compatible with hookless or traditional rims in modo that you can use the wheels you want, and the pressure you prefer. The bead is reinforced with Zylon and exceeds hookless pressure standards by 200%.
