SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH WIDE SHOES
The S-WORKS TORCH WIDE are Specialized shoes perfect for road cycling. Thanks to Body Geometry, biomimetics, data science and the skills of Specialized craftsmen, it has been possible to design this shoe so light that you forget you are wearing it.
The BOA® cable is positioned lower so that the forefoot does not lift. Thanks to this innovation it was possible to eliminate the velcro strap and the structure of the shoe improves power and eliminates unwanted pressure and pinching.
All the materials used to construct the upper follow the movement of the foot without hindering it while pedalling, they offer maximum comfort and the reinforced areas keep the foot wrapped for a clean power output and optimal efficiency.
Inside the sole there is an internal reinforcement for greater stiffness and durability: the result is a 20-gram weight reduction, greater efficiency and immediate power transfer.
The part of the shoe that accommodates the Achilles tendon, compared to previous models, is asymmetrical, offers more space and maintains an excellent connection.
MAIN FEATURES OF SPECIALIZED S-WORKS TORCH WIDE SHOES:
- Flexible upper but reinforced where needed.
- Sole 4mm wider than the S-Works 7 model.
- Optimized carbon sole shape through the addition of a reinforcement and eliminating the build-up of superfluous material around the perimeter. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, greater efficiency and immediate power transfer.
- The asymmetrical heel cup supports the medial area and allows material to be removed from the sides and the use of a lower collar.
- The BOA® cable improves hold and reduces pressure on the anterior ankle ligaments.
- BOA® S3-Snap Fit system with independent micro-adjustment, with Boa® warranty.
- Possibility of inverting the threaded titanium inserts to move the cleat back by up to 5mm. Compatible with all main three-bolt cleat pedals.
- Rear non-slip cleat, easily replaceable.
NB: IMPORTANT FOR THE WIDE VERSION *** THE NEW SOLE IS 4 MM WIDER THAN A STANDARD SOLE (8MM WIDER THAN THE S-WORKS 7).
