The Chisel is the lightest full-suspension alloy bike in the world, weighing 18.4% less than similar models in its category. Thanks to the kinematics and geometry inherited from its big sister Epic 8, the Chisel delivers outstanding performance on every ride.

SPEED METAL

Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, the Chisel vanta the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category. Every frame tube is engineered with varied thicknesses and profiles, providing stiffness where needed to ensure efficiency, vibration damping, comfort, and optimal control.

CAPACITY

With 110 mm of Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension travel, the Chisel inherits its DNA directly from the Epic 8, our World Cup racing machine. The advanced suspension kinematics, progressive geometry and adjustments refined on technical World Cup courses make the Chisel capable of tackling a wide range of terrain with confidence and speed.

EFFICIENCY

Thanks to the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8, the Chisel is the most efficient bike in its category. The forward seat tube angle ensures an optimal pedaling position, while the optimized anti-squat reduces pedal-bob. The result? Every watt pushed through the pedals is translated into maximum forward motion.

SMOOTHER IS FASTER

We designed the Flex Stay stays to deliver class-leading suspension performance, eliminating the extra weight and maintenance of traditional pivots. Extensive field and lab tests show that the Chisel combines the efficiency, control and light weight of the Flex Stay design – a technology common on carbon bikes – with an advanced alloy.

HYDROFORMED ALLOY

The one-piece hydroformed seat tube integrates the bearing seat and the bottom bracket shell, further reducing weight and material compared to traditional alloy frames.
