The Chisel is the lightest full-suspension aluminum bike in the world, with a weight 18.4% lower than similar models in its category. Thanks to the kinematics and geometry inherited from its bigger sister Epic 8, the Chisel delivers excellent performance on every ride.

SPEED METAL

Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld technology, the Chisel boasts the lightest XC aluminum frame in its category. Each frame tube is designed with differentiated wall thicknesses and profiles, offering stiffness where needed to ensure efficiency, vibration absorption, comfort, and optimal control.

CAPACITÀ

With 110 mm travel tuned by Ride Dynamics, the Chisel inherits its DNA directly from the Epic 8, our World Cup race machine. The advanced suspension kinematics, progressive geometry, and refined adjustability on World Cup technical courses make the Chisel capable of confidently and quickly tackling a wide range of terrain.

EFFICIENCY

Thanks to the geometry and kinematics developed for the Epic 8, the Chisel is the most efficient bike in its category. The advanced seat tube angle ensures an optimal pedaling position, while the optimized anti-squat reduces pedal-bob. The result? Every watt pushed on the pedals translates into maximum forward progress.

SMOOTHER IS FASTER

We designed the Flex Stay staybones to deliver category-leading suspension while eliminating extra weight and maintenance of traditional pivots. In-field and lab testing show that the Chisel combines the efficiency, control, and lightweight design of Flex Stay—common on carbon bikes—with an advanced alloy.

HYDROFORMED ALLOY

The hydroformed seat tube in one piece integrates the bearing housing and bottom bracket shell, further reducing weight and material compared to traditional alloy frames.
