We have leveraged everything we learned during the development of the Tarmac SL7 and reinterpreted it in aluminum, using Smartweld technology to create the new Allez Sprint. When you go on the attack, nothing is easier to mistake for a Tarmac. We’re not offended. Some call it a carbon copy, we say it’s the first Aluminum Super Bike.
The componentry includes Shimano 105 groupset with hydraulic disc brakes, DT R470 Disc alloy wheels, and Body Geometry Power saddle.
.- The Allez Sprint is the fastest aluminum bike in history, helped by the wind tunnel work on the Tarmac SL7. Details like the most complex headset tube we’ve ever made and internal cable routing make this Allez 41 seconds faster over 40km than the previous model. Not bad at all; it could be the difference between standing on the podium or not.
- With the bottom bracket box and the down tube as a single piece of hydroformed aluminum, the Allez Sprint is super efficient and stable, perfect for a sprint finish or breaking away in the early kilometers.
- Go all out on the sprint, descend for the more technical descents, all without feeling like you’ve had ten rounds with the heavyweight champion. The lowered seat stays and the carbon seat post and fork of the Tarmac SL7 make the Allez Sprint comfortable in the saddle and precise at the handlebars, all with the proven geometry of the Tarmac SL7. It’s as comfortable as it is beautiful. Well, almost.
- One thing in particular helped with aerodynamics, power transfer, and handling of the new Allez Sprint—the Smartweld technology. Building the fastest bikes in the world from carbon fiber wasn’t enough for us. With the bottom bracket area and the down tube in a single piece of hydroformed aluminum, with the most complex headset ever made, and with Smartweld technology, we created the first Aluminum Super Bike.
