SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE

The brand-new SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE bring to the off-road mondo the performance offered by road shoes. Thanks to over 100,000 foot scans extracted from RETÜL data, a wider carbon sole has been introduced to better fit all shapes of the human foot. An internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, avoiding the need for additional reinforcements. The result is a shoe with a comfortable, adjustable fit and sufficient stiffness to transfer all the power to the pedals.
The inside and outside of the shoe are made following Body Geometry criteria: thanks to 20 years of studies and development, this shoe has no weak points, but only high performance when you pedal. Thanks to the varo thickness, the longitudinal arco and the metatarsal button, the foot remains in the correct position while pedaling and always stays aligned with the knees and hips.

MAIN FEATURES OF SCARPE SPECIALIZED S-WORKS RECON SHOE:

• The high-density base and the new spacers allow you to adjust contact with the pedal to obtain maximum efficiency and a road-like pedal stroke.
• Body Geometry technology with varo support, longitudinal arco and metatarsal button.
• The asymmetrical heel cup supports the medial side and allows the removal of material from the lateral area, enabling a lower collar.
• The use of an internal I-Beam adds rigidity and strength, eliminating the need for further reinforcements and allowing the shoe to remain extremely light.
• Zone reinforcement on the quarter and forefoot maximizes support, while the new BOA® cable routing improves retention, eliminating the need for a toe closure.
• Additional spacers of 3 mm, 6 mm and 9 mm are available as spare parts to compensate for leg length and for the cleats.
• For a wider fit – the new sole is 4 mm wider than the standard width (8 mm wider than the previous S-Works Recon shoes).
• Indicative weight 280 g for one shoe in size 42.
