The design of the Shimano XTR RT-MT900 brake rotors is a further evolution of the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza structure. The weight of the rotor has been reduced and heat dissipation has been improved by 20 °C: this effective heat management during braking is achieved thanks to the sandwich structure (stainless steel - aluminum - stainless steel) which improves braking performance and reliability. The result is prima classe and consistent braking even in the most difficult conditions.
