The SANTA CRUZ HECKLER 9 C XT MX is a perfect e-mtb for going far and is fast and fun to pedal in all situations. The latest generation of the Heckler features a larger swappable battery (720wh from 504wh), allowing riders to expand their trail map, accessing previously unreachable routes, unlocking less-traveled paths, and making more miles in less time.
What sets Santa Cruz e-bikes apart is how they behave on any trail: the carbon layering and frame design make the bike nimble and sturdy.
The geometry has been refined thanks to numerous tests and feedback to make the ride enjoyable both uphill and downhill. Finally, the legendary VPP suspension has been tuned specifically for e-bike use. The rear travel of 150 mm (with a 160 mm fork up front) seems to be the right point for a bike destined to tame big trails on big days, with slightly lower anti-squat to ensure traction similar to glue on climbs you’ll test yourself on.
The battery is fully removable/replacable, meaning you can carry a spare for ultra-range or charge it away from the bike.
The bike is fitted with the lightweight, powerful and efficient Shimano EP8 motor, which allows you to tackle all routes safely and easily.
