SELLA SPECIALIZED S-WORKS PHENOM MIRROR
Sella appreciated for its length and flat profile, and chosen by professionals such as Kasper Asgreen, winner of the Tour of Flanders, and Loic Bruni, DH World Champion. Like all our saddles, it was created with Body Geometry technology with an ergonomic design, scientifically validated. By replacing traditional expanded foam with the material developed with Mirror technology using 3D printing, we also reduced pressure in the support area under the ischial tuberosities.
BODY GEOMETRY: We know that every body is different, but the problems encountered by cyclists are always the same – pressure in the support area, scar tissue formation, and reduced blood circulation. Through pressure mapping, blind comfort studies and blood flow studies, we have scientifically proven that Body Geometry and Mirror saddles effectively solve these issues.
RELIEF FOR SOFT TISSUES: Using a concave shape and an adaptive carbon shell, we created the spazio for a greater amount of Mirror material printed in 3D – a matrix of 20,055 columns and 8,735 nodes – which reduces pressure under the ischial tuberosities by up to 28% compared to a traditional saddle with expanded foam. We measured this with ultra-precise resolution pressure mapping.
