The FIZIK TEMPO ARGO R5 is a versatile road saddle, perfect for endurance, with a short-nose design and generous ischial support that promotes stability. While the traditional saddle shape encourages the rider to move frequently to obtain better leverage, Argo places you in a more planted position for greater stability and better weight distribution. The reduced length of this saddle allows the rider to sit further forward without placing excessive pressure on sensitive tissues. The ergonomic design has been developed through careful pressure analysis and with contributions from medical experts. The padding is made with Fizik's proprietary type 2 foam formula, slightly thicker in the ischial bone area to support a more upright riding posture. Argo is a product of the Fizik Concepts program, an interdisciplinary collaboration of industry experts and academics who conduct research and analysis on technology, design, physiology, and bicycle assembly in search of ways to improve cycling performance.
