For climbing these wheels do not have a single gram too many, because perfection is achieved when you can no longer take anything away. Lightness alone is not enough to obtain the responsiveness and handling of the Alpinist CLX II tubeless wheels. The pair has been designed as a system and our engineers have tested every part of it – the mozzi, the rims, the spokes – and development started from the Tubeless tires. The result is a wheelset weighing 1250 grams, with an unrivaled ride quality. The hooked rim design of the Alpinist CLX II (which allows you to reach a pressure of 110 psi if that is what you want) ensures a perfect tire hold and an easy installation. All this in a lightweight wheelset that exceeds quasi twice the current strength standards. The new AF mozzi are 50 grams lighter than the previous Alpinist CLX mozzi. The bearings are SINC Ceramic, the internals DT Swiss EXP.
