The Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50 tyre is the gravity tyre developed with Greg Minnaar, designed to give you traction and control on any kind of terrain. The tall, well-spaced knobs bite into dust, loose dirt and mud, while the sturdy side knobs offer secure support when cornering and braking, even on roots and rocks. The MaxxTerra compound combines good grip and durability, ideal for enduro and aggressive trail riding. The 60 TPI EXO+ casing adds extra protection against cuts and pinch flats compared with the standard EXO while keeping weight in check, and the folding construction makes transport and fitting easier. Being Tubeless Ready, you can run it without an inner tube at lower pressures for more traction and fewer punctures. Great as a front tyre, or front and rear if you want maximum control on descents.
