The Colnago CC.01 handlebar is made in a unico piece, completely monocoque, to tutto advantage of weight saving and stiffness.
The base wider drop greatly improves bicycle control on descents, while the design meets today’s demand to improve aerodynamics to increase performance.
The longer stem (compared to the 75 mm standard of compact handlebars) creates a more “inside the bike” position on descents and a much wider flat surface, for greater palm comfort with any type of brake lever. The Colnago CC.01 handlebar is designed for modern wireless and wired electronic groupsets and for internal cable routing, but it is still compatible with external routing and corona brakes.
