GILET Q36.5 VEST L1 ESSENTIAL

The GILET Q36.5 VEST L1 ESSENTIAL is designed to be worn by road cyclists: it offers high protection and is really compact. This vest is both waterproof and windproof, light (weight 137 g) and perfect for year-round wear.
It is made from UF Hybrid Shell fabric, a brushed/felted material that, built without a membrane (which would provide windproof or water-repellent characteristics), is woven on the outside with such a high density that it creates a wind resistance comparable to traditional soft shell fabric, while maintaining high breathability.
More sensitive cyclists will immediately feel the benefits of this vest on long descents as it quickly wicks away sweat and keeps the body dry and cool.
The vest undergoes a pre-weave treatment for water repellency and fast drying times, instead of the classic finishing on the finished fabric. This choice allows the yarns to retain their natural characteristics.
The model was conceived according to the same fit principle as the L1 short-sleeve jersey and built using the same advanced tailoring techniques. No back pocket, but two invisible cuts to provide access to the rear pockets of the jersey or jacket under the vest. Full Cam Lock reflex zippers of 3mm.
