The GALFER SHARK BRAKE ROTOR 6 BOLTS 223 MM THICKNESS 2 MM is currently the most comprehensive MTB brake rotor. This brake rotor, paired with Galfer Pro pads, enabled Myriam Nicole to win the Mondo championship and Amaury Pierron and Thibaut Daprèla to secure several podiums in the Coppa del mondo.
The new rotor was developed in collaboration with Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) and Alex Marin (IJ Racing) and is designed for the most demanding athletes in “gravity” DH and Enduro disciplines.
The internal fins Disc Shark® give the rotor its name and, together with the small internal circular holes in the track, reduce the rotor’s operating temperature, while the external design Wave and the transverse openings of the track provide powerful and uniform bite across the entire surface in contact with the pad.

- HIGH BRAKING POWER: the Disc Shark® design requires lower pressure on the braking circuit even in the toughest conditions, resulting in less braking effort. This translates into 5–10% higher braking power under normal conditions.
