The DT Pro Lock spoke nipples prevent the nipple-to-rim connection from loosening on its own: a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple threads to build an extremely durable wheel. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive activates and then fully cures. Re-centering can be repeated, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly with each re-centering.
