GENIE — The flying carpet: The biggest innovation on the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy is GENIE. This air-spring patent-pending technology we invented fulfills the three wishes of every rider: the feel and control of a coil spring, better bottom-out protection than a standard air spring, and an adjustable platform for a playful feel. THE 'GENIUS': GENIE combines the linear stiffness of the coil spring that improves control through the “hit zone” with the progressive curve of the air spring at the end of travel to prevent bottoming out. Truly, it’s the best of both worlds — coil and air — with extra adjustment potential. Say goodbye to compromises and welcome the future of suspensions.
