For years, time trial bikes have been designed in in modo very similar way - flat aerodynamic tubing, heavy frames that are difficult to ride, and often approximate braking. For flat and fast courses, as they used to be once, these features might have been acceptable. With today’s technically very demanding courses instead, time trial bikes must be diverse. We have pushed the limits of UCI regulations by adding disc brakes, shaving weight and refining the position. The new Shiv TT is the time trial bike available on the market that allows the widest and simplest customization of the position in sella without compromises

SPECIALIZED S-WORKS SHIV TT MODULE FRAME KEY FEATURES:

• With time trial stages becoming ever more technical and demanding, it was essential to draw on our many years of experience in Research and Development and on the feedback received from professionals, to create the fastest time trial bike on all courses, whether it is a city prologo or a long time trial with major elevation gain. It is not enough to make the fastest bike on a straight. With this in mind, we have shaved weight and improved the handling of the Shiv TT, which now has a completely new profile.
• Position adjustment is another cornerstone in the design of the new Shiv TT. Thanks to years of data collection dia Retül professional fittings, we have reworked the geometry and the front end of the bike: spacers, extensions, armrests, position, stability. The handlebar with the stem is a unico piece, simpler and lighter.
• Disc brakes are now a necessity in time trials, with variable tempo, tight corners and a road surface that is non perfetto. They allow you to brake only poco before the corner and add stability both in the corner and during acceleration. And don’t worry, they do not add air resistance.
