FORK FOX 38 FLOAT FACTORY KASHIMA FLOAT 29 FRONT 170 GRIP2 HSC/LSC ORNG KX110

The FORK FOX 38 FLOAT FACTORY KASHIMA FLOAT 29 FRONT 170 GRIP2 HSC/LSC ORNG KX110 is perfect for mounting on a 170 mm travel enduro MTB. It possesses the same revolutionary features as the 36 but redefines the characteristics of a long-travel single-crown fork and sets a new benchmark in terms of safety, performance, and durability.
Floating axles offer a clear performance advantage due to their unique ability to align the exact wheel mounting surface width with the front hub flange spacing, thus creating perfect frame alignment and eliminating unwanted friction between the upper and lower stanchions. Floating axles ensure a much smoother suspension movement throughout the fork’s travel, greatly improving sensitivity and overall ride quality.
The Fox 38 fork features a new patent-pending quick-release floating pin system, combining the benefits of a floating pin with the ease of quick release tools-free. With this system, the spacing is locked by a floating steerer tube, allowing repeated removal and reinstallation of the front wheel while maintaining perfect fork alignment. The floating axle positioning is factory pre-set, so if you’re unsure how to use the floating axle system or simply don’t want to deal with it, you can simply install the front wheel and continue riding.
The Kabolt-X pin is a lightweight floating axle that reduces weight and increases torsional rigidity thanks to its single-arm pin design and no steerer. Frame alignment must be restored every time the front wheel is removed and reinstalled on both the Kabolt-X floating axle and the 40 axle, but the end result is the same: perfect alignment and flawless performance.
When the fork compresses, the air volume inside the lower legs decreases, increasing air pressure. The more the fork compresses, the more the pressure increases. This effect can undesirably prevent reaching full travel. Bypass channels, located in the lower part of the fork, help relieve this problem by dramatically increasing the air volume inside, thus reducing the amount of unwanted pressure ramps.
The oil for the lower legs is circulated to the top of the lower legs, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork compresses and extends during its travel.
The lower leg bleed system allows you to equalize pressure with the simple push of a button. The pressure buildup in the lower feet drastically reduces fork performance, preventing full travel and decreasing sensitivity and responsiveness to small impacts.
Our all-new lower leg design is engineered to shed every possible gram without compromising the stiffness and durability required by modern enduro and gravity bikes.
The arch-shaped design of this fork is intended to pair perfectly with modern Enduro and Downhill bikes. The steering tube profiles have become larger and fork offsets shorter. The new arch shape accounts for this need, protruding forward to provide ample space for the steering tube at maximum compression.
The Grip2 damper is the benchmark for ride quality and ultra-precise adjustment. It includes Variable Valve Control (VVC) technology, which allows fine external adjustment of suspension performance. GRIP2 enables you to achieve, with a simple twist of a knob, what would normally require the long and complicated task of fully disassembling and reassembling the fork.
EVOL technology increases the negative air spring volume, optimizing small bump sensitivity. The EVOL air spring’s linear curve provides smoother initial travel, greater mid-stroke support, and a more adjustable end progression. The advantages of this technology are further enhanced by the new channels for the rear legs and bleed ports that reduce trapped air pressure in the lower legs, allowing the EVOL air spring to operate freely without unwanted interference.
Factory series products feature an original Kashima coating that is ultra-durable and slick.
