The fabric at the center of the new MT500 waterproof collection boasts the same leader category in breathability and waterproofing as the Exoshell40 standard but with durability (DR) tuned to tackle the most challenging mountain terrain. A sturdy, durable outer layer paired with a soft touch, consisting of a highly breathable mesh inner layer that effectively wicks moisture away from the skin through the fluorine-free superfine membrane in the middle. As with all Endura waterproofs, ExoShell40DR is treated with a fluorine-free PFC-free DWR, thus eco-friendly. This fabric has been designed to remove harmful substances from the supply chain, ensuring products are safe for consumers, workers and the environment. This means the only thing you’ll leave on the mountain are the tracks of your tire treads.
